Supreme Group is recruiting a Finance Manager for our operations in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The primary objective of this role is to lead and manage the mission finances in order to show the most accurate current financial status of the specific mission through relevant MMR (Management Reporting) andall aspects of financial transactions that have an impact on the P&L.

This position will also be responsible to support and guide the business lead and management team on all areas of financial obligations, identifying financial risks to the business and continuous drive to reduce costing and losses, whilst increasing revenue.

Additionally, the Finance Manager will be responsible to cover for mission based finance managers when they are leave or absent over long periods of time. This location will be based on a rotational period per mission, depending on operational requirements.

KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll
• Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports
• Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures
• Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records
• Directs and participates in cost analyses and rate studies
• Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues
• Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls
• Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems
• Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting
• Reviews financial statements with management personnel
• Directs the installation and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls
• Any other duties as required by Line manager and / or Business Lead
• In missions where applicable, perform credit controlling functions for Fuel sales to external customers and contingents
• Perform mission critical tasks, depending on the various mission requirements as implemented by the applicable business lead and / or Finance Manager.

Compétences et expérience souhaitées

Essential:
• Professional degree in Accounting or business administration and an internationally recognized professional accountancy qualification or equivalent expertise in Finance and Controlling gained from previous positions

• 8–10 years experience in accounting positions within industry or professional firm
• Able to demonstrate experience of supervision of staff
• High level of initiative, problem solving and decision making ability
• Works well with people, proactively anticipates impact of work load and has a positive work ethos including a willingness to work longer hours during month-end close
• Strong experience in P&L Account and KPI (Key Performance Index) analyses
• Ability to present financial analyses comprehensively
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and French
• Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Desirable:
• Previous work with a large international contractor

• Audit experience with a top or middle tier firm.
